CASH and CARRY PRODUCTS
We are not responsible for the installation and/or use of products that have been purchased “carry-out” or “cash & carry” from our store. It is the customer’s duty to ensure proper installation to local codes and standards, and to inform themselves on the proper way to use, operate and maintain said product. We are not liable for any installation or set up of product that we did not install. All customers MUST sign the “Product Pick-Up Waiver” when purchasing cash & carry units or venting from our store.
WETT CERTIFICATION (WOOD and PELLET)
WETT Certification applies to WOOD BURNING products only. Our installations are WETT certified on the day of installation, as they are performed by WETT Certified installers to meet current existing codes. We are not responsible for any changes made to the installation (i.e. floor protection, wall material, furniture proximity, renovations, or other finish work that may violate code) set up after we leave the premises and/or any changes to WETT codes that may occur after installation is complete. WETT certifications are valid for the day of installation, if re-certification is required a WETT inspection will need to be performed by a technician to confirm no changes have been made and system remains up to code. Yearly stove, pipe & chimney cleanings are recommended for all wood & pellet appliances. For safety, Carbon Monoxide alarms are strongly recommended when installing a wood burning appliance.
GAS INSTALLATIONS (PROPANE and NATURAL GAS)
Gas line/tank installations are performed by certified gas companies. We are not responsible for their installations of gas line, conversions of units, tank installations or any other aspect of their companies installation practices in any capacity. Yearly cleanings by a certified gas technician are recommended for all gas appliances. For safety, Carbon Monoxide alarms are strongly recommended when installing any appliance that requires propane or natural gas.
WARRANTY

It is the customer’s responsibility to properly use, maintain and care for products they have purchased. We are not responsible for any manufacturer defect or issue with the product due to production, build or manufacturing. PAYMENT TERMS
Payment/Ordering Terms: All orders require 100% payment for entire invoice excluding labour charges at the time of ordering. This includes all products, components, and material charges. Installation dates will not be secured until full payment is received. For labour costs, we require a credit card to be kept on file, which will be charged $1.00 as a hold. The remaining labour charges will be automatically processed on the day of installation, once the work is completed. We accept major credit cards (excluding Amex), debit, bank drafts, e-transfers [billing@classicstoves.net], or cash. If installation requires multiple trips, the labour balance will be charged on the final day of completion. If payment is not received, the part, appliance, and/or venting will not be left and will be removed until payment is made. Interest will be charged at 2% per month on overdue balances. Proposal Terms: All proposals are good for 30 days from the date it was created. After that time, prices are subject to change based on price increases, labour increases, and other factors.
RETURN POLICY
All returns require the original purchase invoice; appliances must be returned within 2 weeks of original purchase date and a 25% restocking fee will be applied at our discretion. Venting, labour, special order items and select parts are non-refundable. Thank you!
CANCELLED JOBS/DEPOSIT REFUNDS
A 25% restocking fee will be applied at our discretion to any cancelled installation jobs, this will apply to the physical items on the bill only. (i.e. chimney, venting, unit).
